Matt Emerzian was in the music business; once the senior vice president of a highly successful music marketing and promotion company, to most observers Matt was living the high life. A day at work for Matt typically included hanging out with the likes of U2, Coldplay, Snow Patrol and Black Eyed Peas, to name just a few. Over time however the life Matt was living caught up with him and he was faced with a personal crisis that ultimately changed not only his own life, but also those of thousands of other people.
Through his business Every Monday Matters, Matt is spreading the word about the power of living a purposeful life and the enormous difference collectively we can make to our planet and all of humanity if each and every one of us sign up for making a bigger difference.
“Mondays can be a day of inspiration, a day to celebrate the start of a new week. It gives us an opportunity to make a choice. To make the simple, yet paramount choice of how we want to live our life. What if everyone started his or her week with the mindset of “It is time to be awesome”? – I am going to make a difference today, I am going to be a better friend, a better husband, a better coworker, a better citizen.” What if every Monday was seen as a day to be better than we were the week before? That’s powerful. That concept matters”.
